§ 01The brief

What we walked into.

We were brought in by Inmarsat's maritime marketing team to create the launch toolkit for Fleet Xpress — their advanced satellite connectivity service for merchant shipping, fishing, offshore vessels, rigs and superyachts. The brief: a complete kit for channel partners and direct end-user campaigns across global maritime markets.

  • A complex, technically innovative service needed to be communicated with clarity across every touchpoint.

  • Multiple platforms and formats — print, digital, event, website — required a scalable graphic treatment.

  • Multi-language deliverables for a global partner network on tight launch windows.

  • Had to preserve Inmarsat's heritage and brand equity while signalling modernity and innovation.

§ 03The install

The system we shipped.

Step 01

Single hero visual

Isolated the elements that make up the service in their purest forms — sea, ship and digital data — into a crisp graphic system that expressed connectivity at ship level.

Step 02

Custom icon system

Designed a custom icon set following Inmarsat's palette and typographic system, enabling a flexible yet consistent visual language for a wide range of messages.

Step 03

Multi-format adverts & brochure

Produced full and fractional-page multi-language print adverts, digital adverts, event banners, email footers and the product brochure — all built from the same system.

Step 04

Inmarsat.com takeover

Designed the homepage takeover and rewrote the existing Fleet Xpress page so the launch landed consistently across owned digital as well as paid and event channels.
